This picture was taken on New Year's Eve 2007 at Big Smoke's Annual Fireworks Extravaganza. He would cook a whole bone-in standing ribeye that had been aged 45 days at Moseley's, along with every cheese and cured meat imaginable. Brown whiskey and champagne were freely poured. The fireworks he shot off would rival what most cities would shoot off on July 4th. The night this was taken, one of my friends asked me if my dad was a civil war re-enactor. I said "No, why?". To see him in one of his "costumes" was so commonplace, it never occured to me that he looked like Stonewall Jackson this night. He was always happy, but this night he was really happy.

When I look at this photo, I can see resemblances with some of the members of the Sundbäck-Sundbeck-Sundback-Sinback family in Sweden. Isn't that fantastic, after nearly 150 years. The DNA is a small but powerful molecule!
